A world-renowned IP scholar whose work has had impact far beyond the walls of the academy.

An influential voice in the ear of patent judges, policymakers and practitioners around the world, Dreyfus is especially well known as a thinker on the relationship between national and international IP laws and treaties and is leading authority on TRIPS and WIPO. She is also a thought leader on the subject of specialised IP courts. Dreyfuss’s remarkably broad interests include trade secrets, the relationship between patents and human rights, IP in emerging economies and gene patenting. She is also a past chair of the Intellectual Property Committee of the American Association of Law Schools.
