Mark Lemley is one of the United States’ foremost IP commentators, a staunch advocate of patent litigation reform and an innovator in the provision of IP legal services. His seven books and hundreds of articles have been cited over 9,000 times in different publications and at least 140 times by courts, including in seven US Supreme Court opinions. As professor of law at Stanford Law School, he is educating the next generation of IP professionals; and with the launch of Lex Machina, he and his colleagues have revolutionised the provision of data and analytics about IP disputes to law firms, companies, courts and policy makers.
