IP Hall of Fame Academy members
The IP Hall of Fame Academy comprises previous, living inductees into the IP Hall of Fame, the panellists from the 2006 IP Hall of Fame induction process and individuals who have been put forward for membership as a consequence of their acknowledged expertise in international intellectual property issues. Moving forward, people will qualify for Academy membership only if they are inducted into the IP Hall of Fame or if their names are submitted for consideration by an existing member.
The role of Academy members is to select IP Hall of Fame inductees from the nominations made by the global IP community.

Malte Köllner
Attorney and current vice chairman of the German standards committee for patent valuationA German and European patent, trademark and design attorney, Malte Köllner has authored and co-authored numerous publications, including a handbook for the patent cooperation treaty, published annually. Köllner is a regular lecturer on intellectual property and its exploitation, including due diligence and patent valuation, and is editor in chief of the leading journal on patent law in German-speaking countries. He is currently vice chairman of the German standards committee for patent valuation.
In 2009 Köllner was named a member of the IAM 250 – A Guide to the World’s Leading IP Strategists.
