IP Hall of Fame 2008

The five IP Hall of Fame 2008 inductees were chosen by the members of the IP Hall of Fame Academy following a selection process that began on 1st May 2008. The Academy whittled down their selection from a nomination document that was 78 pages long, ran to over 24,000 words and contained more than 200 nominations.

The 2008 inductees are a highly influential academic and author who has written some of the most important IP-related books of modern times; the current director general of the World Intellectual Property Organization; the first female president of the International Trademark Association; a former executive director of the American Intellectual Property Association; and the creator of Stanford University's Office of Technology Licensing.
